The following notes give you an overview of how we handle your personal data in the context of our events. We treat your personal data confidentially and in accordance with the statutory data protection regulations.

1. Purpose of the data processing

We process personal data in order to offer and run our events. The processing takes place in the context of:

• Couch Concerts (evening events in a small circle)
• Seminars and workshops
• Group events
• Individual coaching and couples coaching

The data processing serves the following purposes:

• Registration and organisation of the event
• Communication before, during and after the event
• Sending the exact address and organisational information
• Invoicing and accounting (where applicable)
• Fulfilling legal obligations

2. Categories of personal data

In order to run our events we process the following data:

• Contact details (first name, last name, email address, phone number where applicable)
• Registration details (selected dates, optional messages)
• Billing details (where applicable, e.g. for paid events)

3. Legal bases

Your data is processed on the basis of:

• Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR – your consent (e.g. when registering via the form)
• Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR – performance of a contract or pre-contractual measures
• Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR – legitimate interest (e.g. organisational communication)

4. Recording of events

Events are only recorded (e.g. photo, video or audio recordings) with your express consent pursuant to Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR. Recordings serve documentation and communication purposes only and are not passed on to third parties without your agreement.

Consent is voluntary and can be withdrawn at any time, without giving reasons, with effect for the future. Data already recorded will then be deleted, unless statutory retention periods prevent this.

5. Communication via messenger services

Communication via messenger services such as WhatsApp is possible. We point out that these services are potentially insecure transmission channels. The security of data sent via these platforms cannot be fully guaranteed.

We recommend transmitting confidential information by email instead. If you would like to communicate via messenger services, this is at your own responsibility and with your agreement.

We use WhatsApp Business (Meta Platforms Ireland Limited). When it is used, your name, phone number and message content, among other things, are processed by Meta. WhatsApp's privacy notice: whatsapp.com/legal/privacy-policy.

6. Processor: Brevo

For registration via our website we use Brevo (Brevo SAS, 106 boulevard Haussmann, 75008 Paris, France) as a processor pursuant to Art. 28 GDPR. Brevo processes the data entered in the form and sends confirmation emails on our behalf. The data is processed on servers within the EU. Brevo's privacy policy: brevo.com/legal/privacypolicy.

7. Confidentiality during events

Everything that is shared during our events – personal stories, thoughts and feelings – is confidential. We ask all participants to treat what they hear confidentially and not to pass it on to third parties. As the hosts, we are equally bound to confidentiality.

8. Storage period

We store your personal data only for as long as is necessary to fulfil the purposes stated above, or for as long as statutory retention periods require. Registration data is deleted after the event has taken place, unless further obligations exist. Accounting-related data is retained in accordance with the statutory retention periods (usually 10 years).

9. Your rights

You have the right at any time to:

• Information about the data we hold about you (Art. 15 GDPR)
• Correction of inaccurate data (Art. 16 GDPR)
• Deletion of your data (Art. 17 GDPR)
• Restriction of processing (Art. 18 GDPR)
• Data portability (Art. 20 GDPR)
• Objection to the processing (Art. 21 GDPR)
• Withdrawal of your consent (Art. 7(3) GDPR)
